Personally, I'd take it out and then have it mapped. But a sports cat is also good
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

The sports cat would 100% be ok, not sure if the 2.0t has a precat or not, if it does then I'm guessing, like the 3.2 it would be ok

Not something I know about, maybe give a remapper like regal or courtney a call for their opinion?

You should get more power with a full decat - it's less restriction on the exhaust system. But if you're not sure, give one of the big tuners a call and discuss it properly. Better to do it right first time...

Do you not have a mannicat? If so your going to need a new manifold as well.

The Cat on the 2.0T comes straight off the turbo. A de-cat wont happen as there is Lambda sensors before and after the cat so it will just bring up the emissions light and it'll go into limp mode. A 200cell sports cat is what you'll need with a new downpipe

will the cat have to be fitted on the down pipe as i have seen one for the 2.0t with the cat after the flexi connection.
