Headlight bulb upgrade...

Just wanted to guage opinion on the prefered headlamp bulb upgrade (non xenon style).

What have people changed to ?

I have got some of those Osram 90% brighter ones. A lot of people go for the Philips one too. The ones I have got are a bit better than the original bulbs.

I noticed that autoexpress recommend the phillips x-treme power in H4 guise, am I right in assuming Vectra are H7?

Yes pre face lift head and dip are both H7 fog h3. Facelift h7 dip, main is h1.

Pardon the dumbness..
so do i need 2 pairs of H7 bulbs as they are both seperate???
Previous car had H4 so both in same bulb...

Yep. H4 are a combined bulb. For those that have changed from factory fit, is it a noticible difference ??

I changed to Phillips Vision+ as soon as I got the car -I came from an Omega with Xeons and really missed them
Made a big difference!
I've seen some posts elsewhere saying that the 90% night breakers have quite a short life, especially when used as dip beams.

I changed mine for MTEC Xenon effect bulbs... Massive difference.
