Picture was taken inside boot area looking towards the boot lip.

I answer that as a question cause I am not hundereds sure but suspect it may be.

Yep, it is. If you buy a Vx towbar it has the electrics plug that plugs straight into that socket. If you buy a non-Vx towbar you have to wire it in elsewhere. Last time I checked, no one even did an adapter to go into the Vx socket!!

Anyone know the wiring diagram for that socket?, ie where the wires go to exactly? Would be easier for me to wire up my towbar. I know I can do it anyway, as I've looked and checked things out. But it may give me / or others a help.

Hi, if you go to stealers they should be able to supply plug for tow-bar socket ,with wire, to connect to your tow-bar.P.S. may seem a sad git writting this at 5 o'clock christmas morning but i've been up for hours with the kids opening presents.SANTA'S BEEN
