we went camping in a tent last year andy, it was good fun but we didnt sleep much as we also have a young child, we found that it takes away the relaxation part of the holiday. so this year we bought a cheap tourer you acn pick a good un up for 1000-1500 for this you would expect to get hot n cold water, shower, cooker, fridge/freezer etc if your lucky you might get an awaning thrown in for free.
im told that if you get a post 1990 van there should be very few vans you cant tow with a vectra with expection to the 6+ berthas(but there are weights to calculate for safety). Im going to use mine as a guinea pig to test my car detailing products too when it gets a little warmer.

    Well guys,
i tow a 2005 twin Axle Ace Jubilee Equerry caravan, its 29 ft long so with my vectra CDTi its nearly the length of an artic.
still it pulls along at 70mph no problem.

Also i compete in a national club called CMCtracktest which carries out time trials though an obstacle course with a van similar to the pic.

    Great Fun !!!!
