Default WTF is a THROTTLE ACTUATOR SENSOR/MODULE?

My mate has an 04-reg CDTI 120 and we took it to the garage to have it Tech2'd, as the spanner light was on.

It came up with a Throttle Actuator thingymajig?

The garage man said he had never seen that in a Vec-C before and didnt really have any idea as to what it could be!

    Anyone know?

    Have you had it too?

Once cleared, can it come back, if so, what needs to be replaced and where is it located?

    Cheers.

There are many faults related to throttle, which may have a variety of causes.

Do you have the specific fault code? As this may narrow down what is the problem.

A bit more info may help.

Could be loads of stuff from the pedal itself to fuel supply and all related sensors.

Are you able to ask for the fault code?
