    confused Help power steering

I have just been told that i have a problem with the power steering pump/motor which needs replacing and will cost 900+....the pump alone is 600+
what I would like to know is:

1: can you get them cheaper and what exactly should i type when looking

2: is it possible to fit yourself

3: HOW do you fit it

    just so you know...i have a vectra c 2004 dti 16v ls

I am a newbie so please be gentle....Thanks in advance to everyone..raz

    look here fella http://shop.ebay.co.uk/?_from=R40&_t...+steering+pump

to change the pump you will need to remove the front bumper as the pump is behind it, just under the drivers head light

and yes it can be done buy your self if you dont mind getting dirty , should take about 1.5 hours from start to finish if you dont know to much about cars, but could be done abit quicker, i have change 2 on mine
