where you will be drilling, put masking tape on the paintwork, position the spoiler where it will fixed and once you're happy you can mark the position for drilling on the tape. The tape will also stop the drill skidding along the top of the boot and taking all the paint off. Use a drill that has a gradual start and using a small drill bit (say 3mm) drill pilot holes starting the drill off on slow speed and gradually speed the drill rpm up. I used increasing size of drill up to the 7mm required. If the spoiler you are fitting has NO centre support leg, then I recommend drilling the holes very slightly further in towards the centre of the car so that the spoiler is pre-tensioned in the middle so preventing sagging later on (if you see what I mean). Sorry I have no pics but it is fairly simple to do. Go on , be brave LOL

very good point and I would use plenty too, so don't be tight with the tape
