Default ultimate Styling Angel Eyes MOT nightmare!! Any help guys?

    Hello again peeps!

The brother in law took the vec for an mot wash and to get headlights alligned this avo, only for the guy to go half crazy under the bonnet saying they can't be got right.. can't adjust these lights.. they're American or French or something!!

Now, I had an idea my beam was wonky and never got round to alligning after they were fitted by the body shop a while back in the course of a few repairs.

This leaves me ******ed as I am only home from work and been told this and test is at half 8 in th morn!

Surely Ultimate styling wouldn't have given me a euro pair?

Does anyone know if there is an adjuster for lhd/rhd on these. The brand name is Depo.

I fitted a new motor in shortly after.. would the way in whicjh I inserted make any difference?

    Cheers!

Apparently the muppet gave up saying they were not even going the right way and no way would they come right using the twiddly adjusters!

Hopefully this is it and I can find the switch and rectify this tonight!

I wouldn't have affected it by the way in which I inserted one of the motors a while back, would I?

    Cheers!

There should be a little lever of some sort. This pic shows a genuine VX Xenon Headlight (I so love saying I have Xenons) with a lever highlighted. Yours may not be the same but there will be something there. Depo headlights can be LHD or RHD as they are universel
You should have had instructions with them explaining how to change them. They used to come with a label on as well.

You should be able to find the lever without taking the headlight off. It will be easier to take the air filter housing out and you will be able to look inside the headlight easier but I changed mine by putting my hand inside will they were in situ

    Update lads!!

Well, there was certainly nothing resembling the very clear and well thought out lever on the oem lights!

I found the little ****** away on the dipped beam enclosure.. basically a piece of coat hanger with a curled end! Was real awkward too because, when I went to drop the bumper for a good look see I saw the guy who done a few repairs and fitted a new bumper a while back decided it was too much bother getting the black vx push fasteners for where the bumper comes up to the front panel, so stuck a few dirty great metal rivets through the two!

Finally figured out that it worked kinda like a safety pin to move it..ie: push it in a bit to release then move up or down til it catches in position for lhd or rhd

The yellow instruction stickers were there, but I found them very unhelpful, and only really understood the line diagram after I had sussed what the setup was by meself, also (and I must just double check) the advised postion for lhd/rhd were in reality the other way around!

Anyway, got it sorted, and a friend of a friend aligned them for me tonight with the right gear.. hope she passes the mot in the mornin now!

So, if anyone with these depo, Ultimate Styling lights needs to adjust the directionality the lever is in on the side of the dipped beam metal casing and it will feel like a bit of coat hanger!
    Thanks!

    Nick :-)
