Engine/exhaust fumes in me car!
Can any1 help here please, I can smell engine/exhaust fumes inside the car when the car is still and just ticking over. The fan is only on 1 and it stinks, often giving me a head ache and making me feel sick! Iv changed the pollen filter thinking thats what it was but the problem still persists! Has any1 had this problem and what can i do to fix it?

I have exactly the same mate. The dealers just turn the fan off and say they can't smell anything.It's hopefully off
back in next week so i'll let you know the outcome.

I think I may have found the cause of the fumes in the car, theres another thread with a similar problem!

Just found the culprit for fumes inside me car having just had a looksy with me dad, a leaky injector seal! I can c an accumulation of gunk around where the injector seal is on the 4th injector and its bubbling slightly, all others r clean and fine with no smell!
Any1 know how difficult it is to get this sorted coz I cant really afford to take it to a stealers?
I have the exact same problem....but i've put it down to the fact i might have a fractured turbo thats possibly leaking fumes....but i'm open to suggestions and if you think its possibly the same as what you have got, then i'm all ears matey

Take it to a local reputable garage?
