EDS via Vauxhall Performance centre. Most of the VXR tuners nationally offer remaps specific to customers.

    Personally I prefer a box.

They've done the maps for most of the N. Ireland members, brilliant job. The map is a customised EDS map. They always get a confirmed 200hp and torque limited 310lb-ft. They've got franchises in Scotland and England now.

    888 racing/VXRPC
    Regal Autosport
    TourqingBHP
    Courtenay
    DAP
    Superchips
    Thorney Motorsport

just to name a few of the 'leading' players.... 888, Regal and DAP all sell EDS remaps, don't honestly know about the others. But with any decent remap you'll be looking at around 185bhp and 300 lbft on the rollers, no mater WHAT they claim

Iv had a quote from Celtic Tuning, what u think? Cheers for the info lads!

Thank you for your enquiry with Celtic Tuning.

As one of the UK's leading turbo diesel tuning companies we can provide for all your electronic and mechanical tuning requirements. The benefit of choosing Celtic Tuning over the majority of UK tuners is that we actually write and develop all of our own software in house; this enables us to provide a genuine custom tuning service for all applications and uses.

The 1.9 CDTi we can take from 150bhp up to 205bhp and from 232lbft torque up to 317lbft torque giving a very impressive performance gain and all within safe design tolerance of the engine and drive train components. Reviews of this vehicles engine are located here: http://www.celtictuning.co.uk/testim...lltestimonials

All of our software has been developed using a MAHA LPS 3000 rolling road. This ensures performance accuracy, reliability and also that your vehicle is MOT compliant for emissions testing. You can expect to see a 2-5mpg fuel economy improvement once remapped but due to every driving style being different its not something anyone can guarantee.

The cost of the remap is £355.50 all inclusive (RRP £395) for which we travel to your location whether it is home or work place. This comes with a 14 day money back guarantee which gives you plenty of time to ensure it is exactly what you are after.

If you wish to go ahead with the remap please forward us your contact details (address, Post Code and Phone number) and we will be in touch to arrange a booking very soon. Alternatively if you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask as our technical team will be able to answer any questions you have.

Only comment I'd make about Celtic and other mobile tuners is that you have to take their word for the power gains - I've never heard any bad reviews about Celtic, but for not much more money I'd far rather take my business to somewhere with a premises that I can have dyno runs before & after.

That sounds very good but do they provide you with the kit to put the map on and off again? Like the BSR one?

Only reason I ask is if your car is under warranty then you don't want to take it in with the map on now do we??

Especially if you're claiming on an engine fault.
