Default Anywhere recommended in Sheffield to have cambelt done?

    As title really

Pentagon Vauxhall any good / trustworthy?

Been quoted between £200 and £250 by my usual independent who is pretty good...BUT....he said he's never done one on new Vectra before, so I don't fancy my motor being his test subject or is that silly?

    What you think?

Phoned Pentagon today and they quoted £179 all in!

Seems pretty reasonable, thinking about getting the water pump replaced too while they are in there, but is there any way of checking it first to see if it actually needs replacing as I don't want to be spending for the sake of it?

I only ever take mine to Perrys Doncaster or Pentagon Sheffield, never had any bother with them and they still wash the car for you when they hand it back !

Got the car back yesterday after having full cambelt kit and the water pump replaced at Pentagon (Sheffield), was £299.00 all in so not too bad I guess.

The £180 they originally quoted for the belt doing did'nt include the tensioners apparently which is a bit silly on their part I thought as surely anyone having the belt done would also require the full kit, so why not quote that in the first place

Anyhow now that's out of the way I can get down to thinking about making a few little mods, starting with the air box mod and K&N panel filter, followed by a tuning box or maybe even a remap if I can get that one round the girlfriend
