    Default Kids driving experience

Well in an effort to get away from the PS3/Wii stuff we usually buy for for our car mad son's birthday we instead got him a driving experience.

They take them from zero knowledge to driving a Mini Cooper S on a race track in around three hours. To say he enjoyed it would be a bit of an understatement. Bit cold for us observers though.

    Some pics.

Three sisters race circuit near Wigan.

Drivers Brief. Only question the kids wanted answering was how fast could they go.

They were then assigned an Instructor and car. Three kids to each car.

Before heading off to the circuit gates.

All lined up ready to take to the track.

And this is his first start in car. Didn't stall it although the duel control probably helped.

They also practised a slalom course and reverse parking before building up some speed on the straights.

    Arty one to finish.

So all in all a very nice day although he says he wants a Mini now. .

Nice pics, looks like he had a great day out. You do realise he's gonna want a Mini for his 14th.

I would love a present like that, I think any 13 year old, would really enjoy the day and experience; that total rocks
