Default Clocks not been put back 1hr on forum.

Just noticed that posting times are 1 hour out, strange the system did not auto update the time on site when the clocks went back.

I think you will find its Internet explorer getting the settings from your PC . Try playing with the Time zone and Starting/restarting Internet Explorer. The Forum gives you Local time

    Default Seems okay now..

I've checked time settings in bios, also time and region settings and all seems okay, I notice too that my BBC home page was displaying correct time.

Just logged back into site and all postings now showing correct time.

Haven't done anything... very strange. Obviously my stupid computer or stupid me... whichever..LOL

Default Have Discovered what it is..

Yes... Iv'e discovered what was causing this.

If I browse the postings without logging in, all the posting are 1hr in front,

However, if I log in, lo and behold they show the correct time, very strange.

Dont know why it would do this, perhaps Duncan knows the answer to that one, anyone else noticed this.

Because if you look in your user CP there is a option

"Time ZoneAll timestamps displayed on the forums can be automatically corrected to show the correct time for your location in the world. Simply select the appropriate time zone from the list below......

In addition, you may set the appropriate option to allow for daylight savings time in your part of the world. "

Thanks for the explanation, I had in fact already checked those, and discovered the reason.
What I was referring to was simply the fact that yes when you log in, the daylight saving mode is taken into effect and times are displayed correctly, but the site in general for users not registered or not logged in, used the sites default time settings which are a hour out here in the UK.
IOW... the site does not use daytime saving for generic non registered users (dont have access to the CP settings). So there is a 1hr difference between logged in users and non logged in users... Just a observation!
