Hi guys. Anyone know how you can have two msn messengers running? I use two hotmail accounts and wondered if I could have messenger running for both of them at once?
Perhaps its a simple as just downloading it again???

Ok thanks anyway Duncan!
may be worth trying something like trillian...
easy peezy.... well, sort of.
windows will not let you run 2 msn messengers.
however, it will let you run MSN Messenger and then run Windows Messenger. (they are two different programs)
the only problem you may stumble across is is a compatability issue between your version of windows messenger and windows.
when you first run windows messenger and it asks you if you would like to setup a new .net account etc just use your current details and on the 3rd screen (i think) when it asks for your email and password there's a little tick box below.... it says something like 'sync windows messenger with your windows user account'
un-tick that box and hit next.
you should be ok that way.
P.S. - they may not always work, it seems to be a bit iffy... as it works on my PC but not on my laptop...
oh... failing that. download a copy of a program like trillian (as suggested above) use that for one account and msn messenger for your other.
ah i see... well, if thats the case then i'm not 100% sure if windows messenger gives email notification or not ...
IIRC messenger has givem email alerts since version 3.5 that came with Win98, but don't quote me on that.
What the f**k .... you cant write "****" here ?!
Fun then you write a link that solves the problem and it is censored with stars instead
Will write it like this then .... its http://www.msgshi t.com/downloads/cat/Multiple%20MSN
Copy the whole link and remove the space between the "i" and "t" in the word youre not allowed to write ...
