Default Whats the best (Hands Free)

First of all sorry if this has been covered before.

What do you recommend for a Hands free for a mobile without looking like something from Star Trek (Not that I have a Problem with Star Trek)

I have the CD 70 Navi audio unit but when I approached a Vauxhall dealer and asked about a hands free kit to upgrade the unit I would have been better talking Swahili. I used the IQUA UFO speaker with the old Freelander but not impressed with the quality in the Vectra. Also went to Halfords and was told that there are issues with Parrot and the wiring for the CD 70 Navi

Hi mate, after trying numerous options i settled on one of these.
Cheap as chips, unobtrusive and easily the best handsfree I've tried without wiring into the stereo.
The only thing I can fault is the blue flashing 'active' light is at eye level so I just covered mine ( black Hammerite! ) as it's distracting at night.

I had a Parrot CK3200-LS fitted in my Mk5 Astra. I used a splitter cable which allows all the quadlock stuff to work 100% and can still mute and send the phone to the speakers. It was difficult to find, and I'm having difficulty again, I'll post another reply when I find the cable.

There's another way of doing it too going by this thread:

have a look to see if you have a plug under the glove box on the right side, this may be the factory phone wiring,if you do a search for a company called just car kits in slough he should be able to help you,i have used him in the past and he was very helpfull,if the plug is there then you can buy a wiring kit and that means you do not need to remove the radio

Got both a Parrott 3000 evo and a Blaupunkt bluetooth in my car with a non OEM stereo. The Parrott is by far the better of the two for voice overall.

There only saying that cos they know that the room behind the stereo is super tight, and will give you sore hands when you fit it
