7 speakers ???

Been looking around this site , and must say GREAT SITE !

But been looking at the specs on the earlier built Vectra C like mine . It says 7 speakers for the HI-FI ?? Where are they ?? seems an odd number .

Two on rear door
Two on front doors
Two tweeters on front doors
One central speaker on top of dashboard

Very Odd , I must have a very strange car here . I have tweeters in the back doors for certain , as I pushed my ear on them to hear trebble sounds comming from them . So I must have 9 speakers ?!?!?! Whats the one in the centre dash for ??

i must say i have never noticed a centre speaker ?? i'm going to have to have a look tomorrow as well

Yep, the centre speaker is under the centre 'grill' section on top of the dash by the windscreen.

Models that have the CDR 2005 have 'only' seven speakers. Models with the CCR 2006 and upwards have nine speakers - the extra two being tweeters on the rear doors.

So, caprimanuk, depending on what head unit came as standard on your model, you may have 9 speakers.

I have the CDR2005 and 9 speakers.... I know the tweeters are there cos the one in the drivers side rear crackles a bit!!!!!!

I have the ""CDR 2005"" , so I must have 9 speakers . Like I previously said , there are deffinatly 2 tweeters in the rear doors as I have stuck my ear on them to make sure .

Seems like some early Vectra C`s have a "mish-mash" of odd extras. Example ......why have I got Xenon headlights with washers on the bumper ? Its only an LS , I spoke to "Paul" from the other Vectra forum he has an Sri If I remember correctly ?
