    I found out recently that the water pump is driven by the aux belt on the 1.8, so if it does fail it aint gonna throw the cam belt off - which is nice LOL !

    You must have a different 1.8 to every one else then - which is nice LOL !

    Unless they put a new engine in and dont put some of the plugs back on correctly or if they do a track rod end and get the tracking wrong. Otherwise they are fine lol

    As there is two Groses in town I would ring the other one as well as strangley enough the prices can differ sometimes for the better

    thats wot mine cost for the GSI

    they didnt charge labour for fitting water pump as it only takes 10 mins to do while belt off.
