I have checked the seal, they do need replacing but i didnt notice any water getting in from there.Do you think it could still be the seals as theres loads of water in the footwell...i'm so confused.

?Are you 100% sure that there arn't any wet patches in the front footwell...the reason i ask is a number of people on the forum have suffered water ingress which is caused by the drain being blocked up ..the one on the passenger side underneath the pollen filter.

Hi again,I have just checked the front footwell, the top of the carpet is dry,but the foam layer underneath is wet.could the water be traveling to the rear footwell causing the lake.If so what do you think the problem could be.

Right..lift the flap up where the pollen filter is and check the drain off..get your hand down there and make sure there are no leaves and gunge blocking it...and also check PF its self to confirm its dry.
