    Default insurance Company being Tw47s

    Hi all

After a bit of help, been with Liverpool Victoria for 5 years now, they were the dogs danglies if you want to do a few minor mods on your car – had a Scooby – full decat, induction kit, full ecu remap, and a body kit too.

Looking at adding a few bits to my 3.0 SRI

Rear spoiler – will not cover
Front spoiler - will not cover
Tuning box - will not cover
    18” rims – Will cover

apparently they have changed there policy now, I am ok if I want to fit a sun roof or parking sensors and allowed to increase wheel size by 1” but that’s the lot. – aint going to get me up to 200+ BHP

any pointers of good insurance companies to try?????????

Do you have to declare parking sensors? They will be few ears ***** up on here if you do, especailly if there's an increase in premium!

Yep, Liverpool Vic are the biggest bunch of ****ing ********s ever, I had my Vec B modded and insured with them, and they changed that policy with out even bothering to inform any current policy holders affected by it.
Fine as long as your car remains the unchanged, but the moment you do another mod, or change cars, expecting it to be no problem, you then find out when it's too late you just invalidated your insurance !!!
I had this with them at ****** Christmas time of all times, was well ****ed off with them, wouldn't go near them again ever.
They wouldn't even cover the Irmscher grill on my C and that's a ****** dealer part !!!
They got dropped like a stone and I am now with Adrian Flux.

I would have thought that seeing as they are there to help prevent you reversing in to other cars, parking sensors would reduce your premium.

You have to tell them of anything thats not standard, I have told them about my alloy tax disk holder and my chrome dust cap covers, they will write to me if it increases my premium

I have asked them to confirm in writing this is ok - what a bunch of w4nk*rs
