Remap BSR etc etc......

I know that this is:
1. A long shot......
2. Perhaps a bit cheeky......

But I will ask anyways.......

Is it possible to use the remap such as BSR on another vehicle? I have a 150 CDTi and would dearly love a remap but cant afford it at all. Is it possible to get these 2nd hand or are they coded for the specific vehicle that they are initially bought for?

So if someone sells on there CDTi - the remap cant be used on another ? Damn!

Speak to BSR as it might be possible to change it from one car to another, but will cost you I imagine. It can be done it's weather BSR want to do it I'm afraid

I think BSR may be interested in recoding a PPC for an existing customer on changing cars.....i.e. in order to remap a replacement vehicle rather than the original. But there would no doubt be a cost involved. As said a BSR remap is 'married' to the car it was supplied for. The map may be generic but the mapper is unique to that car.
