    Default Cabin or Sleeper Seat

Due to the route being different this year we taking a different ferry out which leaves Portsmouth at 11pm. Reason for this being is it saves us a hotel room and leaves us further along our route all nice and refreshed for the next day.

We have to make a choice between a sleeper seat or a cabin with 4 people sharing, prices being much the same for either. So have a look at the link below and cast your vote to your preference but please only people that are possibly going on thip.

    Thank you

Not trying to p*ss on your parade here but LD Lines Boats are among the worst quality in the business...

I have refused one of their cabins before as it was in a right state, you wouldnt let a rat sleep in there, let alone a human being!!

LD Lines are/were predominantly Freight only, but have tried to move into the Commercial crossings, with limited success IMO.

I know they maybe cheap, but you get what you pay for, and personally, if i was organising a trip like this, i would be looking at P&O or Brittany!!

The boat on the route we are taking is being refurbished at the moment, so that should answer any quality problems.

We looked at this route because of the journey we are doing, going this way into Spain, it gets us further down the road, so less mileage and it saves a couple of nights in hotels for those traveling from further afield.

As for cost, it is cheaper than Brittany by some margin for the Portsmouth - Caen crossing (my personal favourite) and on par with P&O.

So, for the above reasons, you can see why it really is a no brainer.
