    Default Twin Exhausts

How much would it cost to fit twin exhausts.... The normal vauxhall ones..

    And what parts are needed....

I've got standard Vectra 1.9 CDTi with single exhaust.

You will need the Y section from Irmscher for the 1.9 CDTi, this will give you the correct 54mm exit diameter that 'should' go directly into your existing 1.9 passenger side box.

The right hand exit on the 1.9 Y peice has an exit diamter of 45mm, this is the same as a 2.2 direct and 2.0 turbo. So you will need the 2.2 right hand rear silencer.

Parts needed to do the conversion on a 1.9 CDTi 150

    Irmscher Exhaust 'Y' Section
    Part Number 3408015
    £109.68 + VAT Retail

2.2 Direct Right hand side box
    Part Number 13156933
    £182 + VAT Retail

    SRi Dual exit Bumper Trim
    Part Number 13138919
    £51.50 + VAT Retail

Please note, in theory this should all bolt together, but until I have got the Y peice here and lined up, I can see if the standard box's line up with the irmscher section.

After all the Y peice is designed for the irmscher box but after speaking to my mate who works for Irmscher we can't see any reason why it should not all fit. Also by getting the irmscher Y peice, you should get the heat sheilds for the right hand side as part of the kit.

    So that's -

    £343.18 +VAT = circa £400

I got my Powerflow CAT back system made and fitted for £250 +VAT = circa £300. Plus you've got a choice of tailpipes. Remember your warranty though!

I agree Alex, there are cheaper ways of doing it, but I want a factory looking system. Bare in mind I have quoted retail prices.

My bumper trim was £48 inc VAT, my Y peice is £99 inc VAT and I am yet to negotiate the price of my rear box.

So at the moment it stands me at £148 inc VAT.

But I have these at home if anyone is interested :-

They are off a 2.0 Turbo, maybe someone can adapt them?
