Tint on SRi Rear Lenses

Just noticed that the tint on the rear of my SRi rear lense is not as dark as those on the pre-facelift Sri's.
The rear lights on the pre -facelifts are much darker tint and look better.
Is it possible to transfer rear lights from the pre facelift onto a 07 plate?????

I noticed this when I was in the vauxhall showroom. All the pre faclifts have much darker tinted rear lenses than the facelift Sri's. It is most noticable when you look at the indicator segment at the top. I will try to pick up a set of pre -facelift lenses as I think they look even better on a Black car.
