Default Car pulls to left...never guess what dealer said!!

Got the car in at the dealers today because it is noticeably pulling to the left. Tyre pressures equal, even tyre wear and wheel alignment been checked before it went in. Just had text to say car was ready and when I've rang to see what the crack is I couldn't believe me ears . They have put it down to the camber of the road!!!! The dealer said "If it is driven right up the middle of a road over the white lines (traffic permitting of course) it neither pulls to left or right". What a load of horse s&$t!!!!! Do all the other millions of cars pull then to the side of the road because of the camber!!! So in theory on my last trip to France the car should pull to the right but was still pulling to the left, in fact towards oncoming french lorries!! Going in to go for test drive with the supervisor. Hopefully I can get in before 5 or he will be away.

Try swapping your left wheel with the right, if they are not rotational.

    unfortunately they could be right

had this happen on a few cars, and they should by law be set up to have a slight left incline, so you dont hit oncoming traffic

also you should always wear out your front left tyre before the others as you put more weight on this wheel going round roundabouts

This is a favorite of my dealers before Arnold Clark took over, they were called Dane County and at the time I had an Omega and a couple of times I asked them to look at a l/h pull from the steering and evertime they said the same. Took it elsewhere in the end and the tracking was out.

Heard that one before - Ford said the same when early Mk1 Mondeos took to the hedge under braking.

LOL! funny thing is, it wasn't until I read the 'rotational' bit that I did a double take.

Well let me update you. Managed to get a road test with the supervisor. Didn't get off to a great start when he commented that I had fitted the wrong size tyres!!!!! Made the switch to 225/45 a year ago. After explaining to him that in fact they were correct we than went on a little jaunt where he finally admitted defeat and agreed it was pulling to left. He had swapped front tyres to rear to see if that would change anything but it didn't. In the process of doing this he noticed a bleb in the sidewall of a tyre with loads of tread on!! Gutted!!!! Booked back in next week for pulling to left and looks like new tyre time
