Default Fitted panel filter and removed tumpet, what a difference!

I have done a few bits on my car today, i.e fitted chrome door pins, painted calipers etc.

Also i fitted a K&N Panel filter, and removed the trumpet whilst i was at it, and oh my god what a difference, i saw some peopel on here said they can barely, if at all feel a difference..... i can honestly say the acceleration has increased by around 50%, it takes off like a rocket now. i always thought it wasnt that fast for a 2.2 but **** me its quick now.

I never thought an air filter could make such a huge difference?

hmmm, what can i do now to increase accelleration etc, apart from a remap?

if it's getting the air in better, it needs to get it out better too..... a decat ( STE will hate me for saying it) will help it reduce the pressures holding the gases up and diesels currently don't need one to pass the MOT... after that all you can do is a remap..
