    confused Petrol Pipes

I have just bought a second hand Vectra C estate and i would like to attach my fule saving devise on to the flow side of the petrol pipes under the bonnet.
I used to get an extra 60miles to the tank on old laguna so thats why i would like to fit it to the Vectra.

I need to know which pipe is the flow from the tank to the engine but not the return. I have noted a pipe that feeds what looks like a fuel filter RHS under the bonnet, does anybody know if this pipe is the flow or return please?

Sorry i forgot to mention it is a 2.0l TD!!

    Thanks for any info

    Karl

Petrol pipes on a diesel? How do you think that works then?

You can't get air anywhere near the fuel system on a diesel, it'll get air in the pump, and generally screw the pooch. Those "fuel saving devices" are basically just a pin-***** in the fuel line tarted up.

Sorry guys i should have said fuel line, i know most of you are nerds but hay come on!!
Well what ever anybody thinks this magnet bought from Bioflow does actually and it works damn well!!! I have had one fitted for three years one the flow line of the fuel and i know at least five others that have had damn good results from them!
There is no cutting of the pipes it just cable ties to it.

Is there anybody that could help me or shall i just go to a vauxhall dealer and ask them?

If a magnet fitted to the fuel pipe worked would not the car makers fit them to every one of their cars? If the Bioflow Motoflow did everything it said then the Car makers would embrace it on every car they made as its in their interests to reduce emissions and fuel usage.

Try running it without it for a while first mate, get an idea of your economy, then add it on and see what happens, because these things have a reputation for doing absolutely nothing...
