Default Thinking bout selling my private reg?

Got a question, I am thinking of selling my private reg. Its on retention at the mo I paid £105 to have it on retention when I sold my car, now thinking of selling the reg but I dont want to have to pay another fee. I paid £600 for it.

Will I have to pay another fee?

    Its DAZ74-- think i'll get 300 back?

I think you have to pay 25 quid to change the name of owner. "Or the buyer pays it in the deal"
I think it would be worth more than 300 quid.

Take a look here at price's of the DAZ plates. http://www.nationalnumbers.co.uk/dat...ber-plates.htm

Not sure on this as the retention fee has been paid its just a change of owner/ car. I have a plate but I have had it on my motor since I bought it but did swap cars to this one and I think I paid £110 to do that.

thinking it could get £300-£400 back from it, the plate could read Daz or Dazza. Daz74

I think you'll have to put the new owner down as a "Nominee" then they can put it on another vehicle, we've just had to do this with one of ours that my sister is now having..

nominee is fine for your sister but not if I was selling on as the nominee does not own the reg and it states that on the document
