    Default TC Switch

I have a question about the traction control switch. I was looking over the beginners modding bits and it says that most Vectra's have the wiring behind one of the panels to just clip a switch into.

I haven't checked this yet on mine but if it has the wiring and i fit it will the switch actually work? Or is it there for show?

    Cheers

I might try it then. I'm guessing it'll be obvious if the switch works or not?

Light come on the dash when you press the TC switch, basicly turning it off, on speeds lower than 35mph IIRC.

Works on my 03 2.0dti...when you remove the blank,if you see a blue plug like mine...http://forum.vectra-c.com/showthread.php?t=56422.. then its odds on it'l work...can't wait till it snows so i can compare it to how the car reacts with it switched on and then off.

It can only be switched off when travelling below 40mph, but can be truned off whenever you like

So you can have it on or off at any speed you like but you can't turn it off if you're going above 40mph?

Yep can be on or off at any speed, but you can't turn it off above 40mph for some reason. You can turn it off below 40mph and it will stay off until you choose to switch it back on. Hope you understand what I'm saying mate LOL.
