Newbie, query?

Hi all, first post and it's probably a bit of a silly question.

I'm about to get my first Vectra, it's a 55 plate 1.9cdti (120) Design estate, and it looks and drives very nice.
It's done 73k and has all service history up to date with the last service carried out about 1k miles ago, but no mention of a new cam belt being fitted. I asked the dealer if it needed to be done around now and he said that they're good till 100k according to Vauxhall. That sounds too long long to leave it to me so I'm wondering wether to have it done soon or leave it a bit longer?
Also how much should it cost to have the work done?

Any opinions and advice welcome.

mate think you will find most people recomend changing it around the 60k mark

i would get them to change the cambelt as part of the deal

IIRC they started off saying 100,000 but changed it to 80,000 but personally i would get them changed around the 60,000
