    Default Goodbye Siggy

With diesel prices spiralling ever upward, a couple of months ago I decided to offload my 3.0 Cdti and go back to the company car scheme. I worked out a deal with the FD (I'm majority shareholder so not too difficult ) so that if I went for lower purchase price/running cost I can keep the car after 2 years for the wife.

Tried quite a few low emission cars (A3, Bluemotion Golf, BM 1 series and even the hybrid options) but in the end settled for a Nissan Qashqai Tekna as a bit quirky, drove very well, loads of goodies (sat nav, leather, Xenons, voice control bluetooth) and ideal family car. PX deal struck, ordered and will be here mid-November.

Now I'm not so sure. The Siggy has really grown on me over the last 18 months - 100% reliable (as I would have hoped), great motorway car, stacks of space when needed (Ikea!), it's just that little bit different and I'm going to miss the V6 oomph!

Consoling myself by thinking what I might go for after 2 years when I won't need a 'family' car and running costs not so much of an issue. Any thoughts on what I should go for - needs to be comfortable for 30k+ miles year, reasonable fuel consumption, plenty of toys , £30 - £35k price range and different?

My neighbour has just got one of these. She's very impressed with it. I've had a good rummage around it.
It feels decent quality and comfy. Plenty of boot space.
I really liked the full glass roof.
