oil rich nations are to turn the taps down in a bid to push oil prices back above the $100 a barrel.
and theres nothing anyone can do to stop em, they certainly got us over a barrel.

That's right. Good old supply and demand.............
Good old Labour, once again they will neglect key issues like alternative fuels and leave it to the Tories to make us eat stale bread, then just as it's all getting better Labour will sweep to power again to set us back another 20 yrs, it's an endless cycle, Heath left the country in a reasonable state in 74, in come's Wilson and Callaghan and Foot to make a mess, Thatcher sort of restores pride and Major is left to balance things up all the time getting a right seeing to by the media, in sweeps Blair and I don't have to go any further to explain do I ?
Funny how people see things differently.
Heath had the country on a three day week.
Thatcher had the country rioting. (But did reign back the unions)
Major did a good job but couldn't control his party (amongst other things ) as it self destructed around him. It was his own party that brought him down.
Callaghan and Foot I agree about.

Sorry, VV but what has global oil supply got to do with Labour? Not even David Cameron can blame them for that..........
Agree with some of the comments above though, but would add that the man that set the economy on the best track for decades was Ken Clarke who gets little recognition for his achievements and left Gordo with an easy job and to take the plaudits as our greatest ever chancellor
