You will have no troubles towing a van of that weight your vec will pull that along nicely.

Only issue is that you may have to have rear electrics / trailer bulb failure warning etc enabled with tech 2. (Trip to the stealers or if you're lucky enough to know a fitter who can lay his hands on one!)

We bought a new Lunar Quasar 2 years ago from Cambells at Preston, in fact the same week I received the car, which had been ordered with the towing kit. No problems towing it and plenty of pulling power, but I did have to be careful to ensure most of the weight went into the car and not the van just to keep things safe, mine came in at about 88/89%. Being retired we used it quite a lot including towing it abroad 4 times. My wife and I actually lived in it for about 2 months while we looked for a property after selling our last home in St.Annes, Lancashire.
It was good while we had it, even had a mover fitted to save my clutch, but we sold it last year after we bought a holiday gite in France, just was not using it any more, lost about 6k on it.

I thought they had to be Tech2 to enable the mandatory trailer warning system for the indicators etc. Also disables the reversing lamps and fog lights etc when towing.
