More help needed.. PLEASE..

I took your advice today and gave my throttle boddy a clean out best i could.. BUT when i removed it i noticed that it has a black plastic cover on 1 side that looks to be sealed.. i have a 1.8SRI veccy c. appart from cleaning the butterfly inside the throttle boddy, is there anything else i should clean?that might help. and can the plastic cover be removed or is it sealed as i thought? any help really appreciated..

Is there any small holes on the inside of the throttle body, where you can spray the carb cleaner into, it might get into "black plastic" cover that is sealed. I have not seen the set up on a 1.8 vectra c. But on the Vectra B you can spray the cleaner into Two holes on the left side of the throttle body. I did it mant times on what is now my wifes car, untill the "air valve" finaly had to be replaced.

Im pretty sure that the sealed plastic cover is the butterfly valve servo. As these engines dont have a throttle cable, its electronically controlled. Could be that mechanism which needs a clean though not sure you can get into it
