    Default Disconnecting Boot

    Hi,

The plastic clip that holds the boot cables in position keeps coming loose everytime I close the boot. It's on the left hand side and you've got 2 of them, one holds on to the boot and one holds on to the chasis, it's the chasis one that's gone...

I can see it goes down into the car and the one on the boot I've not taken off yet but is it easy to do?

I was kinda hoping to buy a new one, un clip the cables, slide then through the tubing and then re-fit. Is it this easy or is it a hard one?

    Thanks guys!

    Default

the trick is getting the cables back down the inside of the boot pillars... tape a 'draw' wire to them when you pull them back up.....then use that to bring them back down.. as for how to change it, you're more or less spot on....
