Done the deal...

Hi all,

Well i've done the deal, just put down a deposit to secure my new vectra.
Its an 08 sri 150 XPII in star silver with 19" snowflake alloys.

They are also putting the chrome surrounds on to in the deal, but they have said that they are 2 pieces to each side, but im not sure if that right, cant remember them like that on my old veccy!! oh well if they are wrong they will have to do it right! I have supplied them with the part numbers!!

The only reserve i have is that there isn't as much extras as the Mondeo St i had!!

BUT...

Its a stunning car and that what matters!!

Its great to be back on the forum, but i had not completely dissapeared, I knew i would be back!! ( its a more friendlier site than the ST forum, but don't tell them, ha ha)

Welcome back Roy and good choice.

I think the facelift is a simply stunning looking car, compared to the Insignia.

Even the rear end on the C's is just awesome; the shape of the lights etc.

I'll certainly be watching the price of Vectra's towards the end of the year/next year as 1) I can't afford an Insignia and 2)if i could afford one i'd still buy a Vectra as they just don't do it for me. You see the Vectra and you know it's a Vectra. You see the Insignia and your not sure if it's a 3 Series BM or a Mazda.

Thanks for your replies guys, sorry made a mistake its not an XPII its an XPI , for some reason theres 2'II' down but itsn ot , its XPI!!

Don't fancy it, as said you cant tell what it is ,is it a Mazda, BMW, or what?

But mind you, its great that there isnt another vectra coming out, i think it would look like many other cars, at least you can tell with this vectra what it is!! Thats my opinion anyway, for what its worth!!
