Private Plate

After a discussion at work about my old private plate i wondered if it would be difficult getting it back lol

Obviously i would need to find the new owner of the car but what would i need to do if they agreed to giving me the plate back??

Pay the transfer fee (and possibly some extra money to the new owner for the trouble)

How come you let it go in the first place or is that a sore point if, so sorry for asking? I've got one myself and whenever i change motors it always comes with me, gets a bit expensive though at £80 a shot eh? Bet the DVLA make a right killing with personalised number plates...bless em! Use your charm and wit mate and i'm sure you can win 'em over, best of luck!
