Default Swapping wood to silver on doorcards

After changing my Sxi seats for the leather i wanted to fit the leather doorcards to match, wanted to keep the silver trims to match the rest of the car,so thought i'd put up a thread on changing the door cappings from the wood one's to the silver one's that are on the sri/sxi etc......

Here's the picture before, with wood capping in place.............

Here it is after removing the plastic rivets on the rear of the doorcard.....

Very simple to do,i used a small chisel, but there is 23 of them and gets a bit boring after a while.....

A close up of how the door capping was secured......

Now all i have to do is remove my doorcards and swap over the cappings.Going to use a contact adhesive so the glue will dry quickly before refitting doorcard, fingers crossed and hope they turn out ok.......

Will keep you all up to date on how it all goes........
