    Default tyres and tracking/camber

    Hi all,

I need to replace my front tyres (signum 1.9cdti 150) and the current set have worn down a bit too much on the inside of each tyre.

I suspect the wear is due to slight camber misallignment or tracking - sound right to you guys? If so can anyone recommend somewhere to get it sorted in the southampton/fareham area?

Also I'm looking for tyre recommendations - it had a new set of el-cheapos when I bought the car (originals needed replacing and I forgot to say replace with a "good" new pair) which are pretty much useless in the wet - although dry they are ok - So I'm looking for something which is good in the wet.

If you get your new tyres from a decent supplier they should have a laser system for checking your wheel alingnment & camber, cost me about £50 to have done but well worth it you will notice the difference on the first corner you take.

I seriously doubt F1 checked or adjusted the camber, just alignment.
