    Default tyres due for change?

as you know, i`ve not had the 1.8sxi long and the tyres are all about due for replacing[damn} in about 2/3 k. but i am wondering which would be the most economical to fit it is on 215/55/16 now but all different makes!!! it has the 5 spoke alloys on but would it be a better way to go for a set of new alloys with tyres as in some mags, the standard alloys are in v/g condition ie no scratches and look well.

The best tyres to fit would be Michelin Primacy's,expensive but well worth the money, have a look at www.camskill.co.uk for the best price's......

ive used toyo proxis for a while now and get great grip wet or dry and they are middle price range just wear a little quicker than the more expensive ones but the price difference works out

Speak to your local Vauxhall dealer they have surprisingly cheap offers on good-ish tyres . They quoted me £70plus VAT for a 215/55R17,I don't remember the make but they were made by Pirelli, whereas I paid £120.00 for Goody NCT5's.
