A few weeks with my new tyres and.............

What can I say I purchased some second hand 4 x Sport Contact 2's 235/45/18 a couple of weeks ago and so far the tyres have been excellent. Very low road noise, no tram-lining and excellent grip in the dry and wet. The tyres had only a very small amount of wear on them and cost £40 each fitted!

Other plus points:

They fill the arches more and look great with my BK999's 18 x 8J's, I suppose I had better post some pics up

My speedo reads correct in that it matches my satnav speed as well

So the outcome is I would recommend Continental Sport Contacts 2's for the Vectra C

Supposed to be fery good, even better than the Sport Contact 3 apparently.

Shame I can't afford a set... You get what you pay for sadly

Mine came on the OE Continentals, absolutely hated the things. Sadly, the rears just won't wear out! Not with the miles I do these days!!

Exactly the same here - the Astra had OE Contis on the back when I bought it. After nearly spinning out twice within 3 days on greasy roundabouts, swapped them for Eagle F1-A and no more Mk2 Escort antics.

Are you on the fk452's as this is what im running on the front and i tooam well happy with them ,better than other much more expensive tyres.

Its a bargin £40 each for contis.

Yep. FK452's, 235/35/19's.

Honestly reckon they are not too far away from Eagle F1's.
