    Unhappy Brokendown again!!!!

My 07 Siggy broke down approx 2 months ago, Pentagon changed the ECU.

Coming home tonight 200 yards past where i broke down last time exactly the same!!!!!

The spanner light came on and the centre display showed the message "The 3rd brake light is out" exactly as it did last time, what sounds like the fuel pump was screaming its rollocks off again, i managed to restart the car but as soon as i turned on the lights or touched the brake pedal it died.

So again towed to the stealers and luckily managed to get in as they was closing the gates for the night, the guy was not happy but to his due he let us unload and even took my keys in.

Not happy we are towing our van down to the Isle of wight a week on Saturday so not to impressed or full of confidence and also just fitted new rubber so do not really want to exchage the car although if it happens again its bye to Vauxhalls for now!!!!!!

A few years ago some Volvos started shutting down because traffic lights interefered with their ECUs....maybe it's the same thing here....

    Just an update,

Pentagon again replaced the ECU and also the rear fusebox anyway got the car back about 2 weeks ago, 3 days later we where due to tow our caravan from Huddersfield to the Isle of Wight, at 4.15am on the saturday morning exactly the same (warning of 3rd high level brake light out and spanner light), we was about a mile from home so we walked home with me ranting about losing our holiday, got in the misses car and went to pick up all our luggage, anyway the car started but with the spanner light on, i wwent home picked the misses up and decided to push our luck!
We went to get the van, as i plugged in the caravan, the spanner light went out! we travelled almost 300 miles and even made the ferry.
Put the car in the garage on the isle of wight, they said it had 23 fault codes
they reset them and said they all looked like a conflict between the ecus around the car with themain one being an issue with the ABS/TC and something else. they reset it all and we have spent the week on hol come home again without an issue!!!
Cars in again to have the fuel flap lock replaced this wednesday so will get them to recheck again.
Not sure what else to do so suppose hang on and if it happens for a fourth time it will be sold.
