    Default tyrez

Changing 2 tyres today on my 3.0CDTi with the expensively sized 215/50 17s on.

Costco (who only do michelin) wanted £172 per tyre

Vredstein - I couldnt track down a local supplier or that tyre size on the Ultrac

So following previous reviews elsewhere on the forum have gone for Falken and their latest 912s

Will let you know how they get on !!

Look to change to the other more popular size - but was told it can get complicated if you have a prang and they arent original spec sizes!?!?!?

The 225/45 is in the Vectra Handbook as an approved alternative - no legalilty problems there mate.

At least I hope not after the number of people on here who have them....

You are right, it is an approved size, in the handbook and appears on the tech2 menu for tyre sizes.

I highly recommend the Ultrac - got them on the Astra, they'll be going on the Vectra, and my housemate put them on his M3 to replace a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 2. He's more than happy with them too.
