    I recently ordered 4 new Kumho 225/45/17's. Fully fitted and balanced etc... for £304, bargin

    So far all I can find are;
    Continential 3 £106 fitted
    Pirelli P6000 £100 fitted
    Got offered some NCT5's but going to avoid them after all i've read on here!

    People are still selling the P6000?!? I'd avoid, they're nearly a 10 year old design now.

    You guys are lucky, Here in Germany, your car papers state what tyres you can use. I have goodyear 215's for summer tyres, and last August had a busted one. Ordered a new one through a local tyre dealer, who put on a 225
    I drove around quite happily for a couple of months, till the car failed the MOT, not only cos I had 215 on three corners, and a 225 on one, but 225 are not on the cars paperwork, therefore I cannot use them at all !
    P.S. the tyre guy held his hand up, took the blame and replaced the 225 !

    Really they are a common tyre and a common size.

    Buy online is your best bet, and usually a lot cheaper.

    so will 225 definitely pass the MOT in UK?
