Got up at 5:30am sunday to go to work to find we had a leak coming from the toilet and dripping through the lounge ceiling !

Father-in-law put a new syphon in the systern last week while i was at work which was pushing the ball valve over causing the seal to leak (f@kin cowboy !!!). Oh, he's all appologetic now he knows its his fault !

Result is the plasterboard is warped and sagging by about 3" !

Glad i'm insured !

Gotta start getting quotes now

, that's all i need !

Not too easy to see in the pictures.

Just in time for Saturday "eh". Hope you get it sorted soon mate.

Mind you the household insurance will pay for all the damage though.

I spent last Saturday morning sorting my toilet tank due to the flush failing to work right.

It's a close coupled one so the whole lot had to come off!

While there I changed the filling system as well to a non ballcock type as I prefer those.

I also renewed the bracket that holds it all together as these always get shafted with all the condensation around the tank.

The father-in-law said a few weeks ago, If you want any help with your extension when it gets started, i'll do the carpentry !
