    Default Grill Deflector

Is it worth removing the Plastic Deflector behind the grill, in front of the air intake, it looks like it restricts the air flow ?

    Forgot to say , on a pre-facelift

As nico said, its only fitted on the Diesel, from a consensus of opinion its there to stop hydraulic lock as they run a higher compression than petrol.

Not worth doing. The flow meter is the most restrictive part of the induction system (around 60-70% of total restriction),and it's postioned after the air filter and is not to be messed with.So anything before that is not going to make a great deal of difference.Even if you completely remove the air filter chances are it won't make a lot of difference, and so removing the little bit of plastic in front of the intake is pretty much useless.
