What a lovely days work...

Thought i'd make the most of today's weather and get the Vec prep'd for winter.

It was filthy from a weekend up at the in-laws caravan, so a combo of road rust, rain and salty sea air was not making it look good!

The wash...

1) rinse with pressure washer at approx 45deg angle so as not to force the dirt into the paint.
2) washed wheels with AG Body shampoo using sponge and Megs wheel brush
3) rinse wheels and car again
4) 2BM wash with Duragloss 901 using Megs wash mitt
5) Rinse
6) Clay whole car using Meg's Clay and Quick Detailer as lube
7) 2BM wash with Duragloss 901 using Megs wash mitt
8) Rinse
9) Light spray when wet with Megs Quick Detailer, then dry with Poorboys Drying Towel
10) AG SRP all over using microfibre to apply and Megs Microfibre to buff
11) Zymol Carbon all over using Zymol applicator pad to apply and Megs Microfibre to buff.

It looked clean before... but by heck the clay brought off loads of crap, and i do mean loads!! - now, not only is it clean, but it's smooth as hell

A whole lot of work, but should all be protected nicely now through until January i reckon - so just the weekly wash until then
