Are you sure it's the injectors that have no power and not the glow plugs as the injectors get their power from the ECU, so it would be unusual for Tech 2 not to pick up on them.
The glow plugs just get their supply via a relay off the ECU, which is probably fused anyway.

.. Just spotted you're in Lincoln too, shame mie's a petrol.

Injectors don't work with an 12V on/off signal. What equipment have you used to come to the comclusion that the injectors aren't turning 'on'?

He used a light tester in plug. (from another thread)

I wouldn't rely on that test as the injectors are pulsed, so a light tester would not light up properly, if at all. Also the tester should be 5V.

Ideally to test the plugs an Oscilloscope should be used, but Tech2 should still pick them up as a problem if they don't fire.

A bulb won't work, as the pulsed signal is far too short to light it.

Either a scilli or a good coil clamp may detect the electrical pulse that fires the injector

Nico, I've just thought, if you can get it to "Expert Test & Tune" on Deacon Road then they can fix it as that's where all the dealer cars go that the dealers can't fix.
