    Default carbon fibre film

I was given a nearly whole sheet of foliatec carbon fibre film , and have been playing with covering some of the internal trim fixing,s .now what i have found was even with a heat gun this foliatec c f is just not flexible enough ,so my question is has anyone else used any other manufacture,s c f so can any one recommend an alternative to the foliatec brand

is yours like a silver foil back ?

we use 2 types one silver backed wich is like a foil this is good nice glossy

but the other is more a printed vinyl this would be the one u want to use for heat molding to surfaces weve used it on dash pannels ect how ver its not cheap between 5-12 quid a meter by 610mm
anyway ive foil backed in stock if u want some to try the other kid we order in as needed as no great call for it yet
if u want us to order you some or u want the details let me no

No callan foliatec is a vinyl backed film , this foil type film you mention sounds interesting . And the prices you mentioned deffinetly beats anything i have seen anywhere else . would it be possible for you to send us a small sample to try out.

You can buy Real Carbon Fibre sheets of ebay and just use resin to bond. There is a thread running on DW with a complete guide, the stuff the guy was producing is fantastic.
