Its quite an easy mod really, as long as you put the sensors in the correct place. Theres a How2 posted on the forum with pictures and measurements. I'm not sure if its all, the old or the facelift, but some have the senor positions on the inside of the front and rear bumpers. Wiring is easy, just simply the live wire to your reverse light and the earth, well to an earth point in the car, mines in the boot.

I myself fitted a £25ish set from ebay, they came in a range of colours, the silver was a near perfect match for my Signum.

If you look at the How2 it explains all.

Oh, yeah sorry, that was just the buzzer. I think you normally just run the wiring for the display thru the roof lining, no cutting required for that either. I just think its a ****** to remove.

Isn't is best to look behind you rather than at a display in front? I know what you are gonna say I am using my mirrors.

Yes - I can't see why you would want to be looking forwards when reversing. Look carefully at the spec, a lot of the cheapish kits that have displays, have the buzzer in the display ie you don't necessarily get a separate buzzer and display. My display, and others have done the same I think, is behind the passenger seat by the little 3/4 light window (or whatever it's called). LIKE THIS. Also, the kits are cheaper at Amazon.

By the way, Solo, if you have a play with the search function, you would quickly answer your question - there's loads of stuff on here about parking sensors.

yes i do use my mirrors more than looking back as you can see more that way, seen many people take their mirrors off by not using them, sometimes doing a lot of damage

I put my display in the rear luggage area on the ceiling under the rear light, I can see it from my rear view mirror when reversing, I put the sensors in the black bumper strip on my estate.
