Default TC Switch questions (not the usual kind)

i've got a few TC Switch questions. but not the usual kind.
    i know i can't have it!

first off, i'm assuming but can someone confirm, is the switch a momentary switch?
eg, press without it locking down.

second, when fitted, what holds the switch in place?
does the wiring connector hold it or does the console hold it in place and stop if falling out?

i've got no wiring behind my TC switch but i do have wiring behind every other blank.
i was thinking of filling up the dash as it looks a bit boring.
i've also had a crazy thought about a use for the TC switch.

also, does anyone have a pic of a fully filled out console.
    ta.

It's held in by clips on the side of switch (presuming its the same as the park pilot switch) and it is momentary.

What's your idea? i'd like to see someone with a NOS kit use the sport switch for activation...

just looking for a switch that doesn't stick out screaming "push me" and is easily accessible.
should be easy enough if you knock up your own connector.

    *edit*
looks like it's the sports switch that has no wiring behind it.
so i'll be looking for one of those then.....
